The only reason for this post is so we can quote Coming to America. After all, ‘what is this, velvet?’ Yes. Yes it is. This blazer’s so slick it’d be offensive to wear with anything other than your finest pair of shoes. Selectism’re also aware that Moschino aren’t the trendiest brand to name drop at the moment – especially if you’re part of the sprezz set. If anyone asks where this is from, just say it’s a Cuccinelli one off. And mention that you were into him before all these blogs started featuring him, just to really throw them off the scent.
Armed 2011
Japanese menswear line Armed‘s collection for Fall/Winter 2011 is edgy, unlike any other line, and super cool. Knits on top paired with patchwork knit pants on bottom = hot hot hot. This is the kind of collection whose aesthetic This/ Hearts/ On/ Fire/ expect to trickle up — the patchwork knit pants paired with mixed knits cardigans and tops are what the creative directors of luxury lines could only hope to think up of on their own.
