Richard Dawson moved to London in the mid 90s to study a menswear fashion degree at Central Saint Martins College — the hot bed for super cool designers — where he was later awarded a much coveted bursary, by MA course leader Louise Wilson.

Since graduating, he has worked extensively in the industry as both a textiles designer and menswear designer for various brands. In summer 2009, Richard took the decision to set up his own menswear label Forgotten Future. Says Dawson: “ This hearts on fire wanted to work for myself, designing product that they passionately believe in, creating investment clothes that a man will have in them wardrobe for years”.
